"Encountering Life Alone" Many Christian men and women are jurting do to separation or divorce. They need hellp working through their loss to find new meaning, purpose, healing, and spiritual growth.They need to know that God still loves them, as He always has and always will. A place where they can share, reflect, pray, and give and receive mutual support within a faith-based community is just the kind of support group needed. Volunteer facilitators share their personal experiences and helpful resources in this large group setting. There are also small groups where more personal sharing can occur. Rachel's Vineyard™ Rachel's Vineyard weekend retreats off a beautiful opportunity for healing to any woman or man who has struggled with the emotional or spiritual pain of an abortion. The retreat is a chance to get away from the daily pressures of work and family, to focus on a painful time in life, and to begin healing through a supportive and non-judgemental process. Spiritual exercises focusing on God's forgiveness, compassion, and mercy are shared through psycological exercises, which help participants work through represses grief and anger that may exist. Many preconceived fears of condemnation are transformed into blessings; memories of abandonment, pain and confusion are replaced by peace and reconciliation. "CLM Lay Discipleship Class" The Rapid City DIscipleship class will be starting September 9, Tuesday, ay 6:30 pm. This level I class consists of 14 sessions, and will end on December 9. Each class is approximately two hours long. The purpose of the class is to define Biblical principles and CLM's model of counseling. People who have attended this class have found that the truths taught are life changing in their walk with Christ, and equip them with effective tools for use in ministering to people within their own families and church.
