Hills View Update for Sunday, November 26th, 2017

Posted by Mitch Hildebrant on November 20, 2017 @ 9:17 PM

Good Morning Hills View!  We hope this finds you all well this week of Thanksgiving!  Thank you for all the food this past weekend as we celebrated with the Senior Citizens of the Piedmont Valley!  Also thank you for being a part of us each week!  We love worshipping with you!

This week's sermon in our Real Royalty series is from Esther 8, and is titled:  New Authority.  Now that the flesh has been recognized as the enemy (not a friend) and impaled on the tree (the gallows) - we now find the palace/kingdom under a new authority (the Holy Spirit)!  We now have the ability to act - react and respond to life's temptations - situations and circumstances in a way of victory verses defeat!  Please read the chapter before our time together and plan on joining us Sunday!

This past week we had over 400 precious people in our services.  PRAISE GOD.  120 shoe boxes were filled  for Operation Christmas Child and shipped outl!  THANK YOU for all YOU do for His Kingdom!

Life group leaders wanted! Will you pray about hosting or leading? New groups begin in January and we ask for a three month commitment (weekly or bi-weekly) at your home or the church. You decide how you want it to look (book, video, sermon studies, etc.) and we will help you with content and with connecting with others. Please contact Naomi Mendel at: to be a host or leader. Leader packets are available on the back table.

The sting of death is sin, and the strength of sin is the law. 57 But thanks be to God, who gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.- 1 Cor 15:56

God Bless you, we hope to see you Sunday!
